Photo Critique

1. This photo a very cool one. The photographer utilizes a very long shutter speed which allows the clouds to appear as on long, silky smooth layer flowing over the mountain. I believe he uses the proper exposure setting as well as the picture is not to bright or to dull. Also the radio towers are not exactly centered, they are off to the side as they should be and the eye is easily drawn to them.

2. This photo is not exactly my favorite. The photographer wants the viewers eye to be drawn towards the rock in the middle of the shot, yet he fails to do this because he blurs out the bottom of the photo which, at least for me, causes my eye to be drawn down lower then the rock. He also seems to use a long shutter speed as the water appears to be very calm and smooth. Exposure on this photo works.

3. This photo is very good. The photographer captures the detail of the squirrel perfectly. The whole body is not in vivid detail but the most important parts are. I feel that had they cropped the stick out of the bottom and only had the squirrel, the picture would have just about been perfect. Its a very simple picture, and in my opinion, simple is best.
